This Christmas, we will be celebrating the beginning of the fourth year of successful operations at Realidea. Nearly half of the past three years have been coloured by the coronavirus pandemic and next year will be no exception.
At Realidea, we aim to be always a step ahead, ready to meet and overcome challenges with positive energy – together. This has proved a winning strategy, including in the challenging year of 2021. The leaseholders of the shopping centres we manage are more satisfied than ever, reflected in the record-high occupancy rate. We have been able to attract new flagship leaseholders into our shopping centres and we have succeeded in improving the performance of our shopping centres in a competitive climate. In our consulting service operations, the latter half of 2021 was particularly busy. We have been involved in extremely interesting projects, such as the development of the Helsinki Elielinaukio area and Rail Baltica railway stations.
The pandemic did not erode our faith in the future. Our successful recruitment has continued throughout the challenging times and we have welcomed several amazing new colleagues. The number of employees at Realidea has quickly risen to 30! Our employees are known to be committed to their work. They are a team that shares a common goal and is proud of our company and our achievements.
The year is nearing its end and it is time to take a break, enjoy the Christmas spirit and celebrate the New Year. We would like to warmly thank our customers and partners for this year and wish everyone a merry Christmas, and joy, success and good health in 2022!
